Eden of America

Despite being the smallest state in the union Rhode Island packs a big punch in architectural design, beautiful landscapes, with a rich horticultural history. While I was at the Newport Flower Show was I caught up with some of the Preservation Society of Newport County members who are keeping this “Eden of America” alive and well. Listen to our conversation in this podcast of the P. Allen Smith Radio Show.

NEW VOICES

Every year I invite a bunch of bloggers from around the country to my farm. These guys are talking about gardening, cooking, family, and a lot of other things that I think you would enjoy listening to. So I thought why not create an atmosphere where these bloggers are interviewing each other. It was fantastic. It was a great ice breaker and we learn a great deal of information. So here's our first one in, what I'm calling the New Voices series.

This podcast features Chris VanCleave (@redneckrosarian) a-k-a “The Redneck Rosarian” interviewing the author of the Rain Forest Garden, Steve Asbell (@rainforestgarden).
